Mrs. Shonda Richardson
Witnessing how much my students learn and grow throughout the year is one of the best parts of being a teacher. I love hearing their ideas, their stories about their own lives, and helping them becoming better people. My goal as a teacher is to grow my students' love of learning and to show kindness toward others. My students are the reason I love my job!
I was born and raised in Dillon, Montana, and met my husband, Ryan, at Montana State. He became an Air Force A-10 pilot, so we have lived in several places over the years including Texas, South Korea, Tucson, Arizona, and Layton, Utah. He now flies A-10s for the Idaho Air National Guard. We lived in Meridian from 2003-2005 and were very happy to move back to Idaho in 2019. Ryan and I have two boys, Rafe and Pierce, who are both students at Rocky Mountain High School. We also have two dogs and a cat. I earned my bachelors degree in Social Science: History at University of Montana Western in 2004. In 2017, I earned my teaching certificate from Weber State University. I have taught PE, 3rd grade, 2nd grade, and 4th grade. I love teaching all subjects, and my favorite is Idaho History.
Some of my favorite things to do are camping, running, hiking, skiing, boating, reading, cooking, decorating, and spending time with my family and friends.
Email is the best way to contact me as I check it several times a day. I am also available by phone. Please feel free to reach out anytime you have questions or concerns.
