Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Lindsay Watsabaugh
Dear students & families,
Welcome to our classroom! I am thrilled about the opportunity to get to know you and I’m looking forward to a happy and productive school year! This year will be different from everything you have experienced in school so far, but we will learn so many new and exciting things together. I will work hard to keep you safe, healthy, and ready for fifth grade!
Now more than ever it’s important to work together as a classroom family. We will be spending a lot of our time together remotely, so it is important to treat each other with respect, kindness, and compassion from the start. I know that each of you have a different brain, which means you think and learn differently. It is my job as your teacher to help you grow as a learner and as a person of good character.
What about me? I was born and raised in Jackson, WY (so was my dad!) and I simply love the mountains! When I’m not teaching and planning for lessons, you can find me outside enjoying the fresh air! I love to hike, swim, bike, camp, raft, skate ski, & snowboard. I’m learning how to telemark ski but it is MUCH harder than it looks! I love to spend time with my husband, Ian, our 6-year old daughter, Lily, and our 19-month old son, Liam. My stepdaughter, Anne (18) just graduated from high school and is currently attending NC State in Raleigh, NC as a double major in criminology and outdoor survival. My stepson, Parker (16) is joining us here in Idaho for his junior and senion years at Mountain View HS. Our furry family member, Bruce always manages to tag along on our adventures as well!
I can’t wait to get to know you and your family over the coming weeks! I know we will work together to make this the best year ever!
Please don't hesitate to reach out shoud you have any questions or concerns.
