Graduation & Rehearsal Details

  • GRADUATION REHEARSAL:

    Saturday, June 19 at 7:00am at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa

    • Students ONLY!
    • Dress comfortably - you do NOT need to bring your cap and gown!
    • Breakfast will be provided so come hungry!
    • Rehearsal is expected to last until around 9:00am upon which students will be released.

    GRADUATION:

    Saturday, June 19 at 3:00pm at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa

    Students:
    • ARRIVAL:
      • Students MUST arrive ON TIME at 1:00pm to the Ford Idaho Center
    • ATTIRE/CLOTHING:
      • Bring your cap, gown, tassel and stole - we will NOT have extras!!!  
      • You CANNOT decorate your graduation cap - sorry!
      • Only approved and school distributed stoles and cords may be worn.  No leis or other necklaces/items may be worn during the ceremony.
      • If you do NOT have a cap, gown, tassel and stole call JOSTENS immediately - 208-343-0175.  You cannot participate in graduation without the appropriate attire.
      • Wear appropriate clothing and footwear under your gown!  Your clothing will be checked before you take the floor for graduation...seriously!
      • Do NOT bring a purse, bag, fanny pack, etc. You will NOT be allowed to bring it on the graduation floor with you and there is no secure place to put it backstage.  You may have a cell phone with you and that is all!!!
    • MASKS:
      • Masks are optional at graduation.
    • PARKING:
      • Students will receive a parking pass to park for FREE at graduation
        • Students are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to carpool with other students and give their parking pass to a family member to use 😉
        • Parking passes have arrived at CHS!  Students, you have until Thursday, June 17 to come pick up your graduation parking pass at CHS between the hours of 8:00am-3:00pm - one per student.  See Ms. Scheppers in the main office.  
     
    Families and Guests:
    • The City of Nampa & Southwest District Health have approved the Ford Idaho Center to be open with no attendance restrictions for graduation ceremonies.  Seating will be available to families/guests on a first come, first serve basis.  We kindly request that you respect those families who wish to social distance and maintain 6 six feet of separation, when possible.
    • Idaho Center General Rules and Reminders:
      • No outside food or beverages are allowed
      • Doors open 60 minutes prior to scheduled graduation ceremonies (2:00pm)
        • Keep in mind that Eagle High School graduates at 11:00am so you do not want to arrive too early.
      • $5 parking on the lot - cash is preferred, credit cards hold up the line
      • No glass or balloons allowed
      • Metal detectors will be utilized upon entry
      • Masks are optional at graduation
      • There is open seating with no social distancing restrictions
      • There will be a designated “socially distanced” seating area
      • The ceremonies will be live-streamed
        • A livestream link will be available on the CHS website for viewing - https://www.westada.org/chs.  You can direct family members out of town or unable to attend the ceremony to the CHS website where a link will be available for them to view graduation remotely.

    PHOTOS:

    • Photos of students will be taken as they cross the graduation stage and receive their diploma.  Photos will made available to families through Dorian Studios by searching the student's legal first name and last name as well as grade level.  
    • Pre-orders for pictures may now be placed online by visiting dorianstudio.com and searching for your school name - Centennial High School - Boise, ID.

    CENTENNIAL HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION INFORMATION:

    • Masks are required at the graduation ceremony.
    • Livestreaming will be available for families who are unable to attend live.
    • Students will receive a parking pass to park for FREE
      • Students are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to carpool with other students and give their parking pass to a family member to use ;-)
      • Parking for guests will be $5.00 per car - BRING CASH!
    • GUESTS:
      • The City of Nampa & Southwest District Health have approved the Ford Idaho Center to be open with no attendance restrictions for graduation ceremonies.  This means the 8 guest limit previously communicated has been removed and attendance for Centennial High School ceremony is unlimited. (updated on 05.06.2021)

    GRADUATION REHEARSAL

    • A graduation rehearsal will be held the morning of graduation - Saturday, June 19 at 7:00am.  Students are REQUIRED to attend so please plan ahead!
