Hello!  I am very excited to be your child's first grade teacher this year!  This is my first year at Spalding as well as my first year as a certified teacher! I have a strong background in working with children in various environments with the YMCA and Girl Scouts.  I have worked in the WestAda school district as a paraprofessional and a substitute teacher while going to school and raising a family.  I value my past experiences and what I have learned as an educator to prepare your students for a successful year in 1st grade!

I am an Idaho native and grew up in South Boise!  I am married with three beautiful children.  Our oldest boy is attending college at NNU, one of my girls is a student here at Spalding and loves going to school with mom, and our youngest will be four very soon who will also love going to school with mom as well! They are the light of my life and keep me very busy! I enjoy being outside, camping, and a good hot springs!  My husband and I both returned to school and earned our degrees. He's quite the tech guru while I earned my Bachelors in Science with a concetration in Project Management and a Masters of Arts in Elementary Education.  I am proud of my accomplishments and looking forward to beginning my career as an Elementary Teacher.
