Fast Forward Funding

The Fast Forward program provides every student attending an Idaho public school an allocation of $4,125.00 to use towards Advanced Opportunities in grades 7-12. The program was expanded by the Legislature in 2016 through the passing of House Bill 458.

Participation Form:
The Fast Forward participation form is now located exclusively in the PowerSchool parent portal, under the "Update Student Information" section.  You will fill out and submit the form directly in PowerSchool. This can only be done under your parent login, not the student login.

*Students who fail to request Fast Forward funds will be financially responsible for payment to the college or educational institution sponsoring the course!

*You can take a concurrent credit class without registering for college credit. Taking it for college credit is a commitment that means the grade you get in the class is the final grade on a college transcript. If you are not strong in the subject content or concerned about your ability to handle the rigor, talk to your teacher, parents, and career counselor before you register. Using Fast Forward funds and failing (or withdrawing mid-year) means a freeze on future use of Fast Forward funds.

Fast Forward funds can be used to pay for the following:

MHS List of Concurrent Credits

This list is a comprehensive list of concurrent credit courses offered at MHS this school year. On this list you will also see who the course provider is (BSU, ISU, CWI, etc), who the teacher is, when the course is offered (yearlong course or semester courses), and when registration is for the course.
