Schools of Choice Application Window Opens January 5 - Explore School Options Now

West Ada School District opens the application window for Schools of Choice on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. These online forms are available on school homepages or on the school district’s informational page www.westada.org/SchoolsofChoice. The application window closes Thursday, January 28, 2021 for all but Idaho Fine Arts Academy which closes Saturday, February 13, 2021.

• Christine Donnell School of the Arts – Grades K-6
• Galileo STEM Academy – Grades K-8
• Idaho Fine Arts Academy – Grades 6-12
• Pioneer School of the Arts – Grades K-5
• Spalding STEM Academy – Grades K-5
• Summerwind STEM Academy – Grades K-5

If more students apply than seats are available at any School of Choice, students are selected by random lottery. Applicants should be aware they can only be drawn for one lottery. Once an applicant is drawn in a lottery, they are removed from any subsequent lotteries. Applicants will be notified by email of the results of the lottery in late February.

• February 12 – Pioneer School of the Arts
• March 6 – Idaho Fine Arts Academy, Middle School Auditions
