Expect Future Scholars

Boise State Names Two West Ada Grads Top 10 Scholars
 
Abigail Lipschultz, Rocky Mountain High, 2012, and Timothy Hibbard, Centennial High, 2004, have been names among this year's Top 10 Scholars by Boise State University.
 
Abby Abby Lipschultz, who began her medical studies at the Ada Professional Center during high school, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has begun her career as a registered nurse at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Boise.  During college, Abby was an officer in the Honors Student Association, was the founding chapter director of the student organization Strive for College, served as a Girl Scouts troop leader, and in the Medical Reserve Corps.  During college, Abby worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant, a certification she first earned in high school.
 
 
 
 
Timothy Timothy Hibbard earned a Bachelor of Science in political science and plans to earn his PH.D. in political science at Michigan State University.  During college Timothy conducted two research projects in the Department of Communication.  One original research study, which looked at gender representation in state legislatures, will be published in the 2016 McNair Scholars Research Journal.  During his undergraduate career, Timothy was the recipient of the prestigious Frank Church scholarship and the George Campbell Memorial award.  Prior to attending BSU, Timothy completed five years active duty in the United States Navy and a two-year, full-time religious mission.  Tim is the first in his family to graduate from college.
