So Long Paper Airplanes, Peachjar E-Flyers Delivered to Inboxes

August 28, 2017 – West Ada School District’s is launching a new electronic flyer communication system, Peachjar, throughout the district on September 5. School and community organization flyers will be posted online as visually engaging images and emailed to all parents so limited paper is sent home with students. Upon launch, families will access e-flyers through the Peachjar button placed on their school’s homepage.

 Peachjar E-Flyers

Peachjar is free to our schools because community organizations pay a small service fee to post and distribute digital flyers (typically much less than the cost to copy and deliver paper flyers). This “green” initiative will save our community organizations tons of paper and reduce copy costs by thousands of dollars. On top of that, posting school flyers in this electronic backpack removes a significant administrative burden from teachers, office staff and volunteers.

Families do not need to opt into this e-flyer service. Those with emails in their child’s PowerSchool account will receive a welcome email from Peachjar that includes a username and password. This gives families the opportunity to manage account and flyer delivery preferences. Families do not need to login to receive or view school e-flyers.

This system is used exclusively for distribution of school-approved flyers. Your email address will not be shared or used for any other purpose.

Community organizations may review district policy and discover how to upload their e-flyers here.
