Attention all Key Club Members! Your $15 dues (cash or check) are expected to the Bookkeeper by October 2nd. You can also pay online at  www.myschoolfees.com.  T-shirts will be distributed after the dues are collected.  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Fernandez or Mrs. Lindemood. 

 

Varsity swimmers swam well against Timberline and Borah last night!  Rocky Swimmers you are AWESOME!  

JV swimmers have a meet on Wednesday 9/18 at the Borah City Pool.  Spectators are welcome at 5:00 pm!  Go Rocky JV Swim! 

 

The Technology Student Association will be having a meeting in room 105 this Wednesday from 3:00 to 4:00. If you have in interest in technology or engineering, TSA might just be the place for you.

 

Spanish Club members! There is a meeting in room 222 during lunch, today. No faltes

 

There will be a Drama Club meeting Friday, September 20th at lunch in room A6.

 

Seniors!  Don't forget to sign up for Remind through the Career Center.  Scholarships will be sent via Remind soon. Also, Utah State's visit was not shared during the senior presentations so stop by the Career Center if you would like to meet the Utah State rep.

 

Attention Juniors: Leadership Boise is now accepting applications. This is a great opportunity to join with other juniors in the Treasure Valley to address issues, resources, and opportunities in our community. Stop by the career center for the application and to sign up for the information session where our very own Katelynn Woods will share her experience in Leadership Boise!

 

All 10th grade students will be automatically registered to take the PSAT on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2019

11th grade students will need to pay $17 (cash or check) to the bookkeeper by Friday, October 4 in order to register to take the exam. PSAT Student Guides will be handed out to sophomore students in their English classes on 9-9-2019 or 9-10-2019

 

Students, Heath Science Experience Night is October 15th at ISU's Meridian Campus. This is a great opportunity to learn about career and educational pathways in this growing field. This night also allows you to participate in medical demonstrations and experience human patient simulations. Don't miss it! More information in the Career Center.

 

Picture Retake Day will be October 10th.  If you would like to reorder pictures, please pick up a picture packet in the main office.

 

 

The first meeting of the library book club will be September 24th. 

 

 

Rocky Mountain HOMECOMING DANCE will be October 5th in the Cafeteria from 8pm-11:00pm.

The theme is:  Night of a Thousand Lights. 

Cost:   Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors - $25 single ticket $50/couple.  Seniors - $20 single ticket $40/couple.  Tickets will be on sale at lunch in the four corners.  If you are taking a Non-Rocky student, please stop by the main office and pick up a dance pass that must be signed by your date and the school they are attending. 

 

The Rocky Mountain Football Program is still looking for student managers to fill the specific duty of filming practices and JV football games as well as someone experienced in flying drones.  You must be willing to coordinate practice coverage with other student managers, so the football program is able to cover all daily practices with a minimum of two students for filming and one for filming J.V. games every week.  They are also in need of student managers who have valid Idaho driver’s licenses who can drive an ATV and work with the existing student managers setting up and removing practice equipment from the turf and grass fields. If you are interested in any of these student manager positions, please contact Coach Criner in Room 113 or Coach Humphries in the Football Office after 2 p.m. 

 

Tailgate Party here at Rocky Mountain before our Varsity Football Game against Capital:  Sept. 20th from 4-6pm 

 

All Girls interested in playing in the Powder Puff Game on October 2nd at 7pm.  Please pay the Book Keep $15 then take your receipt to Room 122 to sign up and get your name on the shirt list

 

After school tutoring will be M-Th from 2:45 to 3:45 in Rooms 114-115.  Test Retakes will be on Thursday’s.  Please take advantage of this opportunity.

 

There is open gym Monday’s and Wednesday’s from 6:30-8:00 PM for any girl who is planning on playing basketball this season.

Meridian FFA will be hosting our annual chapter Luau tonight at Rocky Mountain High School Cafeteria, the meeting will begin at 6:30. This is a great opportunity for new members to come to an event and see what FFA isall about, bring your parents and we hope to see you there!

 

Rocky JV and Varsity swimmers congratulations on your awesome performance at our swim meet against Mountain View last Friday!
