May 15, 2019 – The Education Foundation of the West Ada School District welcomes four new Board members and announces new placements on the Executive Board. These community and business leaders serve students by providing supplemental funding and support for educational opportunities.
Potential Board members are required to serve on a committee for one year. Following their initial year of committee service, the Board votes for their appointment to a three-year term on the Board. The maximum amount of time served on the Board is six years, or two consecutive terms, before a one-year reprieve is required. Four members sit on the Executive Board and 11-25 members comprise the whole Board.
Obligations include, but are not limited to, attendance at Board and committee meetings, as well as a financial commitment.
Individuals interested in serving on the Education Foundation of the West Ada School District Board should contact Executive Director Bernadette Sexton. Approximately four placements are available on the Board each year with appointments each spring.
