"First and Second Year" Teacher study



This purpose of this proposed mixed-methods case study is to employ multiple measures to examine the influences of the Boise State Education Program’s clinical experiences on their graduates overall teaching effectiveness and impact on their K-12 student’s learning in their first years of teaching. To accomplish these objectives inservice teachers in their first two years of teaching would be invited to engage in a co-investigation into their teaching practice and impact on student learning through the development, teaching, and analysis of unit of study within their excising curriculum goals. The goal is to improve the clinical experiences of student teachers and to better prepare them to meet the needs of their future students.
