Toad in the Hole

INGREDIENTS

1 slice of bread for each student

1 egg for each student

butter to spread on the bread

 

STEPS

1.  Get out a slice of bread an plate

2.  Put the bread on the plate and butter BOTH sides (front and back)

3.  Cut a hole out of the center of the bread with a biscuit cutter

4.  Turn on the frying pan to low heat

5.  When the frying pan is warm, put the bread onto the frying pan.  Cook for about 1   min.

6.  When the bread is starting to turn brown, put the cracked egg in the center of the bread.  (Make sure to crack each egg in seperate bowl 1st)

7.  Flip the egg and bread over once brown (about 1 minute)

8.  Take your egg and bread out of the frying pan

9.  Serve toad in the hole on a plate
