Star Middle School Experience Survey Goals 

Thank you for taking the time to complete the Experience Survey in November. Over the past several months, we have met with students, families, and staff to carefully review the results, celebrate our strengths, and identify meaningful experience driven goals directly aligned to your feedback. 

In response, we have established the following goals:  

  • Student Experience Survey Goal: 

  • Star Middle School Student Council and Kindness Club will focus on the following three areas to help students feel more welcome at school 1. Greeting students more often as they come to school 2.  Providing advisory class competitions 3. Lunchtime activities 

  • Parent Experience Survey Goal:  

  • Star Middle School will continue to focus on Clarity in the Classroom – as students understand the Learning Intentions and Success Criteria of each class, they are better able to share their learning with parents.  Each teacher will also provide a way for parents to check classroom agendas without more emails being sent. 

  • Staff Experience Survey Goal: 

  • Star Middle School building administration will share and make available the names of district personnel that can be utilized as a resource during concerns or challenges. 

These goals will intentionally guide our focus on engagement now through the beginning of 2027. We are committed to measurable progress and will provide updates along the way so you can see the impact of this work. We look forward to reflecting on our growth in the 2026 survey cycle.
