Mrs. Pratt's love for science is contagious, and her enthusiasm for sharing her knowledge has inspired us all. By joining the Audubon club, she has brought a whole new level of enrichment to our classroom experience, incorporating exciting Audubon materials and activities that have made learning come alive! 🦅
Mrs. Pratt was also awarded $300 from the Star Lions Club! A huge thank you to the Star Lions Club for their generous support, which will further enhance Mrs. Pratt's ability to bring hands-on learning experiences and exciting opportunities to our science classroom. 8th Grade Girls Basketball is rocking this winter. Go Star Cowboys!
The 8th Graders participated in Reality Town. This is a chance for the students to learn what it is like to run a monthly budget. They each got a job (they could dress up as their job) and possibly a family and then had to go to different booths to simulate those things we all deal with everyday. Thanks to our amazing counseling staff, admin and volunteers to make this happen the kids loved it!
We had such a great Veteran's Day Assembly. Thanks to Mr. Switzer and Mrs. Johnson for putting it on. Even the Mayor of Star stopped by!
