Mission Statement

The mission of Owyhee HS Volleyball is to be among one of the elite volleyball programs in the IDHSAA.  It is our desire to raise individual volleyball I.Q.’s and to build confidence and character through discipline, rigor and the conquering of adversity.

Philosophy

Owyhee Volleyball adheres to the Gold Medal Squared Principles.  Gold Medal Squared was created with one goal in mind - improving the quality of volleyball players and coaches. Through years of refinement, GMS has developed a unique system where coaches are given the necessary tools to teach the skills of volleyball to their players, to understand the tactics of the game, to make better use of limited time with their players, and to develop a winning program. This system is based on studied scientific principles from human kinetics, organizational behavior, statistics, and psychology. " We teach the same principles and techniques to every player no matter age.  It is very helpful to have a consistent approach to the game on every level.
