Independent Study Course Enrollment Guidelines

Virtual School House Independent Study Courses are here for you!

• Do you need to make up credits to graduate?

• Would you like to graduate early?

• Would you like room in your schedule for more elective classes?

• Do you need a more flexible class schedule?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, the Virtual School House Independent Study Courses are for you.

Students who enroll in a VSH Independent Study Class will be able to work at their own pace, to complete the course within nine weeks. A student can receive one (1) credit per course with the successful completion of all requirements in a VSH online course. Once the course is completed, and the student has earned a passing grade, documentation of completion of the course will be posted in PowerSchool. Incompletion of the course will result in an "F" on the student's transcript.

Q1- First Quarter: August 16-October 13

Q2- Second Quarter: October 16-December 22

Q3- Third Quarter: January 9-March 15

Q4- Fourth Quarter: March 18-May 24

Students- Connect with your school counselor to determine the course(s) you need or additional courses you may want to take. Work with the counselor to fill out the registration form. Monitor your school email for information about the VSH course.
