Welcome to Eagle Middle School!

Our Colt Kickoff! for the 2023-2024 school year will be Wednesday, August 9th from 10am-2pm.

The Colt Kickoff is an optional event that allows us to open our doors to our Eagle Middle School families. Please note the links below that allow you to access information, print schedules, make payments and get busing information. We certainly welcome you to come in, but also want you to know that all of these things can be done online.

• Pick up class schedules (schedules available in PowerSchool in August)

• Practice your locker combination

• Bring in school supplies

• Check busing information

• Pre-pay for lunches and other optional fees

• Sign off on your student handbook form

• Meet your PTO & sign up to volunteer

• Pre-Purchase EMS spirit wear

IMPORTANT: Although schedules are visible in PowerSchool, PLEASE NOTE THAT SCHEDULES ARE NOT FINALIZED AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE UNTIL AUGUST (Date TBD).

TUESDAY, AUGUST 15TH, 2023 FROM 2:30pm-4:00pm

The transition from elementary school to middle school is one of the biggest transitions you and your child will experience in K-12 education. This transition tends to create anxiety in both the parents and child. It is Eagle Middle School's hope that through the 6th grade orientation day, we can answer many of your questions, ease your stress about the transition and more than anything, welcome you to Eagle Middle School!

Parents, we are letting you know well in advance so you can hopefully adjust your schedules and make it to our orientation day. We are asking that you attend this orientation day with your child as this will aid your child in making a smooth transition to the middle school level.

• 2:30pm start time in the main gym for a short greeting from Mr. Genetti and introduction to the staff you'll want to know as you come into Eagle Middle School.

• 6th Grade teachers will be in their rooms for a brief meet & greet.

• Walk your schedule to familiarize yourself with the building.

• Practice your locker combination.

• Meet school staff.

This Orientation is open to any student/family that is new to Eagle Middle School. We will only have 6th Grade teachers available during this time, but any student is welcome to use this time to help them prepare for the first day.
