Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Biason are your LCMS librarians. We love to talk about books with the staff and students at our school. We look forward to seeing you in the library.

Welcome to the LCMS Library!

Our library stocks Young Reader's Choice books and award winners. New fiction and nonfiction selections are continually added to our collection. Your librarian and aide will be happy to suggest a great book. We order new titles from your suggestions, teacher recommendations, and starred reviews. There are many eBooks available for downloading to your personal device as well as access to West Ada's library on SORA. We invite you to read, read, read!

We can assist with identifying appropriate research sites, citing resources, and working in Microsoft Teams.

We look forward to seeing you!

Due Dates: Library books are date stamped (20 school day checkout). Due dates are also verbally communicated at check out. Students can check their library account in Destiny.

Renewals: Students do not have the capability to renew books. Please email the librarians or stop by the library to renew. Books may be RENEWED unless they are on HOLD.

Holds: Login to Destiny. Find your book and select hold. Holds can only be placed for books that are currently checked out. A pass will be sent when your hold is ready.

Lost books: Students will be notified of late or missing books. Books not returned or renewed after 30 days will be marked LOST. A fine will be assessed for the cost to replace the book. If the book is returned, the fine is dropped.

Damaged books: Report immediately and give to library staff. Do not put in the "Drop Box." Fines for damages will be assessed at the discretion of the library staff. If a book cannot be repaired, students will be charged the price to replace the book. Fines for damage typically cost 50 cents to $5 depending on the type of damage.
