What is our Mission? 

Renaissance High School fosters student inquiry to develop skilled, knowledgeable, compassionate, and principled contributors within local and global communities. 

What is our story? 

Renaissance High School focuses on academic rigor and college readiness. Renaissance opened in 2009 as West Ada School District's first School of Choice High School. It currently houses students in grades 9-12, with an enrollment maximum of 840 (210 per grade level). During the 9th & 10th grade, academic courses are at an honors level in order to prepare students for the challenging demands of the Junior and Senior year. At the end of 10th grade, students choose a program from our offerings. 

What do we offer? 

The International Baccalaureate (IB) is considered the most rigorous high school program in the world. IB develops lifelong learners and challenges students to grow personally and academically. We offer two IB programs: 

  • IB Diploma Program (IBDP)

  • IB Career Program (IPCP)

The Associate of Arts (AA) degree encompasses concurrent credit courses specifically structured for students to earn an Associate of Arts in University Studies through Idaho State University along with the high school diploma.
