Informational meeting for students: Friday March 14th, during advisory. Meet in the gym.
6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Students
First Practice: Monday March 24th 2025, after school.
The district is requiring all athletes register for athletics thru an online form at Aktivate. Please click on the following link and fill out the information prior to tryouts Aktivate Athlete Registration.
Fees: Fees will need to be paid prior to handing out of the uniforms.
Participation fee: $90.00 - This participation fee goes to the district. This fee helps supplement athletic bussing and coaching stipends throughout the district. This is a required fee for the first two sports of the school year. Once an athlete has participated and paid the $90 two times, all other sports during that school year are free.
Activity card: $23.59 ($22.25 + 1.34 Sales Tax) - An activity card is required to participate in athletics at any West Ada Middle School. This money stays at the school and helps run our athletic department. This is a onetime fee – once purchased, it is good for the entire school year.

All MATCHES start as close to 4:00 as possible. Bussing may cause delays.

Information
Practices will go from 3:30-4:45.
All athletes will need to be picked up by 5:00.
Before the first match, practice will be Monday-Friday. After the first match, only A team will practice on Fridays.
On rainy days, practice will either be canceled or go from 3:30 to 4:30 in the gym. Students will be told over the announcements.
VMS tennis has an A and B team. These teams are decided the week before the first match. Athletes are able to challenge throughout the season for a place on A team. Only 24 athletes including alternates can make A team.
A team and B team matches will be on the same day, at the opposite school locations.
