Our school information system, PowerSchool, is how you will access your student’s grades, assignments, and attendance records, along with making changes to your student’s information, including address, email address, phone numbers, and emergency contacts, etc. You can also set it up to be notified on attendance, grade changes and more.

Please update your student’s PowerSchool Account at least once every year to make sure we have pertinent information regarding your student. PowerSchool is how you provide the school with vital demographic information which includes emergency contact and medical information.

If you are having difficulty accessing your Parent PowerSchool account that you have created, please contact our registrars.

Changing demographics, updating your student’s account, or updating medical information

Log into your PowerSchool Parent account and click on your student(s). If you have multiple students you will need to complete this process for each student.
Click the "Changing Demographics" link in the top right hand corner.
Click on the link for "School Forms"
- The forms needing updates will show in the middle to the bottom of the page.
  - If the forms are not there, please email Lori Mundy at mundy.lori@westada.org.
  - If you are brand new to our school or have never logged into PowerSchool, you will need to do the demographic and medical forms.
  - If you have been in West Ada at some point you will update your contact information.
Complete all the required pages. At the very end, it will ask you to sign and click a little box then hit submit. Make sure you do this last step, or it will not process.
These forms should be updated before the start of every school year.

Not receiving emails from Teachers or Virtual School House

If you are not receiving email notifications please log into your account. Then click on account preferences on the left-hand side. Make sure your email address is correct there. Also, click on email notifications on the left-hand side –Make sure your email address is correct there as well. If those are correct follow the instructions above to get to the parent demographic information to make sure the email address is correct there. All of these categories generate emails from different West Ada entities. The email addresses in these areas should be the same in each location.
