This event will allow you to meet other kindergarteners, their families, and your teachers in fun activity!
This will take place on FRIDAY August 7th from 5-6:30pm!

CDSA grade level teachers have discussed & determined items that could be removed from this list supply list/ items that may not be needed are indicated on the following visual by being crossed out.
Individual teachers may also not have a need for specific items and will relay this information to families individually.
It is recommended that all students have a backpack, hand sanitizer, facial tissue, pencil box, AA batteries.
*Art Schools of Choice students should also have sharpie markers as well as thick & thin markers. *

Does your child need bus transportation to CDSA this school year?
Make sure your student is ready to ride!
West Ada student Transportation Request Forms must be completed in PowerSchool by July 30 to guarantee bus service for the first two weeks of school.
Families can meet classroom & specialist teachers as well as drop off school supplies at each child’s classroom.

Mrs. Nix & Ms. Elyzabeth are working to design and execute a tree with student made art for the Festival of Trees. If you are unsure of what the Festival of Tree's is, you can check it out here!
Over the next few weeks students of CDSA will be working to create ornaments that will be used on the tree that Ms. Elyzabeth and Mrs. Nix design during Thanksgiving Break at the St. Al's Festival of Tree's!
Mrs. Nix was able to get a brand-new, lit tree, donated to us from Balsam Hill Christmas Trees and has purchased several of the supplies for student projects to be created. But... we are in need of a few things! We are looking for the donation of ANY TOY OR ART KITS/SUPPLIES to place under the tree! These items can be geared towards any age group, any brand and any style of toy. The only restriction is, the toys must be NEW.
Please let us know if you are willing and able to pick up and send in a few items to support this part of our project!
Any family/student who donates a toy item for the tree during the week of 11/10-11/14 will be entered in a drawing to win tickets to the 2025 Festival of Tree's event! (A value of $14 per ticket!)
Christine Donnell School of the Arts is currently taking applications for students who will be in kindergarten through 5th grade next school year! Application deadline is November 30th!

It’s that time of year again—the annual CDSA Jog-a-thon is here! This is our biggest and most important PTA fundraiser, and we can’t wait to celebrate together.
Thanks to the generous support of our families, friends, neighbors, and employers, the Jog-a-thon funds incredible opportunities for every CDSA student—like the Artist in Residence Program, field trips, clay projects, and so much more!
💥 The Big Event:
On September 25, students will hit the track for a fun-run style Jog-a-thon, running alongside classmates and family while earning bracelets for every lap completed. Every child gets to join the fun—and students who raise funds can earn prizes too!

The Top 5 Fundraisers will score a super special reward: an after-school limo ride to Dairy Queen! 🍦🚘
