This is likely our final parent update for the 2024–25 school year. As such, we want to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks for a great year. We know how important your role is in your child’s success, and we truly appreciate all you do to support their learning and growth.
We’re looking forward to a fantastic final week with students and wish you a relaxing and enjoyable summer!

| WASD FREE SUMMER MEAL PROGRAMWest Ada School District is proud to once again offer free summer meals for all children ages 1–18! No paperwork, no registration, no cost – just healthy meals to help kids grow, stay active, and feel their best all summer long.
Click here for details on the locations and times these opportunities are available. | | STUDENT DEVICE COLLECTION, WEDNESDAY MAY 21stWe will be collecting student devices on Wednesday May 21st. As a friendly reminder, student devices that have issues with them that are deemed a result of negligence, such as writing or carving on the device that can't be removed or repaired, is not covered by insurance. For more information, please review the West Ada School District One to One Device Handbook.
We will begin having students prepare their devices for check-in on Monday. On the afternoon of Wednesday May 21st notifications will go out to families if their student has not turned in their laptop, has a damaged device, or has other technology related concerns. | | CMS LOST & FOUND - Repeat InformationWe currently have a number of items displayed on our lost and found tables. Lost items will be available for students until the end of the school year.

If you notice an item that is your child's, encourage them to grab it off the lost and found table, or email me at mura.matthew@westada.org with the name of your student and a brief description of the item on the table, and we will help make sure your child gets the item that is theirs. | | END OF YEAR - Repeat InformationIf you know your child's last day of school will be earlier than the official last day of school (Friday 5/23) please let us know in advance. This will help us ensure all end of year tasks, such as device check in, locker clean out, and yearbook distribution are complete.
