Student safety is always a top priority at CMS. We appreciate your help in ensuring students remain safe as they arrive on campus in the morning and leave at the end of the day.
If you plan to drop your child off in the morning, please follow the process shown on the map below.
Please remind your child to use the crosswalk whenever walking between the parking lot and school grounds, both before and after school.
Student Drop Off Time & Bus Lane Reminders
On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday our campus opens and staff supervision begins at 8:15 a.m.
On Late Start Wednesdays our campus opens and staff supervision begins at 8:30 a.m.
Please do not enter the school bus lane between 8:00–9:00 a.m. or 2:30–3:15 p.m.
Parking Lot Safety Reminders
Drive cautiously while on school property. Stay alert and watch for students from the moment you enter the parking lot until you exit.
Drop your child off as close to the crosswalk as possible.
Buses have the right of way. If buses begin moving as you are exiting, please allow them to exit first.
If you need additional time in the morning, for example, to help your child gather belongings or have a longer goodbye, please park in a designated parking space so traffic can continue moving through the loop.
At the end of the school day, please be patient and mindful of others as you exit. We want traffic to move efficiently while also allowing students time to fasten their seat belts and get settled.
