Additional Testing Information Spring testing can bring a range of emotions for students. At Crossroads, our primary focus is encouraging students to give their best effort and reflect and celebrate the growth they have made throughout the year.
Our message to our students will focus on encouraging them to try their best. If each of our students can look back and feel they gave their best effort, they should feel proud, regardless of their score.
Our students have grown tremendously this year, and we are excited for them to have the opportunity to show what they know.
To help your child feel prepared, please consider encouraging: - A good night’s sleep
- Staying hydrated
- Positive self-talk and mindset
These small actions can make a meaningful difference in how students experience each test.
As always, thank you for your partnership and for all you do to support your child's success. | | 8TH GRADE REALITY TOWN, THURSDAY 5/7, 12:30-2:30, VOLUNTEERS NEEDEDWe are currently seeking volunteers for our upcoming 8th Grade Reality Town event at Crossroads Middle School. Reality Town at CMS will take place on Thursday, May 7, from 12:30–2:30 p.m.
Reality Town is a hands-on curriculum experience for our eighth-grade students that culminates in a two hour simulation. During the simulation, students assume the roles of adults, complete with careers, salaries, and family responsibilities, to gain a deeper understanding of the financial obligations and real life decisions a 30 year old adult may experience.
If you are interested in volunteering for this event, please email our counselor, Rikki Jensen, or share this information with anyone who you know who might be interested in volunteering, or in need of community service or volunteer hours.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to support our students! | | | | | | Refillable Water Bottles & Staying Hydrated - Repeat InfoAs we head into warmer weather, we want to help students stay comfortable and ready to learn.
Bringing a refillable water bottle to school can help with that, and students have access to a filling station throughout the day.
If a water bottle is needed, we have a limited number available at school. Please click here for more information. | | | | WEST ADA SCHOOL DISTRICT & HOT WHEELS MONSTER TRUCK LIVE EVENTDear West Ada Education Foundation Community,
