Thank you for taking the time to complete the Experience Survey in November. Over the past several months, we have met with students, families, and staff to carefully review the results, celebrate our strengths, and identify meaningful experience driven goals directly aligned to your feedback.
In response, we have established the following goals:
Student Experience Survey Goal: Provide activities to promote kind and respectful social interactions between students, emphasizing kindness and respectful behaviors. Utilize daily announcements and morning meetings to highlight the Desert Sage Way and provide occasional video skits performed by students to highlight expected treatment of others.
Parent Experience Survey Goal: Add more information to the newsletter about changes in procedures that impact students/families to increase transparency in decision making.
Staff Experience Survey Goal: To protect prep times or to provide alternative time to staff when prep times gets interrupted by assemblies, meetings, etc. To make all attempts to schedule special education meetings outside of prep times.
These goals will intentionally guide our focus on engagement now through the beginning of 2027. We are committed to measurable progress and will provide updates along the way so you can see the impact of this work. We look forward to reflecting on our growth in the 2026 survey cycle.
