Hillsdale's Fall Food Drive is November 17-21st! Thank you for your donations!

Students and staff participated in dress-up days, heard poems with kind messages over the announcements, submitted artwork for our Buddy Benches, selected random acts of kindness which became linked to form a chain (see the picture above) and completed a Bingo Board within their classes as they committed acts of kindness around the school. Thank you to our Hillsdale Student Council and Mrs. Pike Crook and Mrs. Montoya for all the work they did to bring us a great reminder or the importance of being kind!

Congratulations, Heather Kunz on being awarded $4,542 from the West Ada Education Foundation to promote literacy in her kindergarten classroom. Mrs. Kunz plans to purchase items such as puppets, reading station materials, Big Books and props so students can act out characters in their stories. Mrs. Kunz is pictured with members of the WAEF Board (third from L).

Congratulations, Kayla Blaisdell on being awarded $3,450 from the West Ada Education Foundation for a creativity and innovation grant. Pictured L-R (Khristie Bair, Principal & Kayla Blaisdell, SPED Teacher).

All 2nd grade students attended the Foothills Learning Center. The center offers environmental education programs designed to ignite interest in natural resources, science, and Idaho's cultural and ecological heritage. Thank you to our parents, patrons and PTO for funding our field trips to allow our students these educational opportunities!
