New School Loading: Independence Elementary Construction

Construction remains on schedule for a fall opening, and when complete, it will become West Ada School District’s 60th school.

Recently, members of the district’s executive team and Board of Trustees toured the site to see progress firsthand. One highlight of the project is the district’s careful stewardship of taxpayer dollars 💰. Funded through House Bill 521 approved by the Idaho Legislature, the school was originally projected to cost $24 million but is now expected to come in at just under $21 million.

Take a look below to see the progress at Independence Elementary and see how West Ada continues to invest in safe, modern learning environments for students and families.
