The Idaho Fine Arts Academy and Latina guest artists, Marianna Jimenez Edwards (visual artist), Estefania Sanchez (Flamenco dance artist), and Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo present, Sabiduria Conectada (Connected Wisdom), 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. visual art exhibit in the lobby, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Concert, Saturday, April 27, 2024, (middle school and guest artists) and Tuesday, April 30. 2024, (high school and guest artists) at the Centennial Performing Arts Center.
This arts event highlights Latin dance and visual art, offering a vibrant celebration of culture and creativity. The lobby art themes are inspired by Latin culture or the students' personal narratives, encompassing themes of home, family, heritage, culture, identity, and lived experiences. Edward’s art will be digitally projected in the concert. Inspired by the artwork, the concert's dance repertoire spans a diverse range of styles, including contemporary, tap, jazz, folk, Flamenco, Latin, lyrical, and fusion of dance styles, ensuring a dynamic and engaging arts experience.
