Goals

Thank you for taking the time to complete the Experience Survey in November. Over the past several months, we have met with students, families, and staff to carefully review the results, celebrate our strengths, and identify meaningful experience driven goals directly aligned to your feedback.

In response, we have established the following goals:

  • Student Experience Survey Goal:

  • LCMS staff will increase their continued presence in the hallways during passing periods and before/after school to encourage kind student behaviors (This is in response to the lowest survey area: I feel students are nice or show respect to each other at my school).

  • Parent Experience Survey Goal:

  • Teachers will periodically send out postcards to families, highlighting positive things they are seeing in the classroom. Beginning fall of 2026, parents will be notified via email that their child was recognized for demonstrating one of our four Explorer Way traits (This is in response to the lowest survey area: I receive positive phone calls, emails, or notes about my child from school).

  • Staff Experience Survey Goal:

  • LCMS admin will provide an opportunity for staff input via a Microsoft Form in the weekly staff newsletter, where staff can submit questions, comments or ideas, with possible solutions (This is in response to the lowest survey area: I have the opportunity to provide input on decisions that affect my job).

These goals will intentionally guide our focus on engagement now through the beginning of 2027. We are committed to measurable progress and will provide updates along the way so you can see the impact of this work. We look forward to reflecting on our growth in the 2026 survey cycle.

With appreciation,

Monty Hyde, Principal
