Mrs. Dziurzynski's and Ms. Felter's Math 8 classes partnered with Luigi Novoa, ML Consultant, to figure out the dimensions needed for a soccer field at LCMS. Day 1 was spent engaging in math discussions and figuring out why the Pythagorean Theorem was needed to ensure the field had right angles. Day 2 was spent outside measuring and marking the dimensions on the field. Students were highly engaged in the process. Way to go eighth graders!
