The Meridian FFA members had a lot of success at the Idaho FFA State Convention! We had students earn state degrees, receive 3rd in the Floriculture CDE, 2nd in the Ag Issues CDE and more! Peyton Watson received the State Star in Agricultural Placement and qualified for Nationals. Sophi Studebaker qualified for Nationals with her study of cats for her Agriscience Fair poster. The second round of state contests is in June so wish them luck!

The Meridian FFA Chapter is hosting our annual Appreciation Breakfast during National FFA week for our members to show their gratitude to their teachers, supporters, and alumni members. I know our students would love it if you could come to the breakfast on Friday February 23rd from 6 to 8 am at Meridian High School Career Tech Center. It will be in the welding shop (they do a great job cleaning it, don’t worry) the address is 1900 W. Pine Ave., Meridian, ID 83642. It is on the west end of campus in the building below with the FFA emblem on it. The meal has all sorts of fixings like pancakes, eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, coffee and milk. I know it might be out of the way in your morning routine to make it over to Meridian High School, but we would love to have you there for breakfast
