On December 4th, Mrs. Bonds took students from Rebound and Virtual School House to Boise State University. While there, students toured campus and had the opportunity to take the CLEP test. This test is for Spanish or French speakers. The CLEP test assess' student's ability to read, write, speak or listen in Spanish or French. Students need to be a junior or senior to take the test.
11 of the 12 students received a high enough score to get all 16 college credits! This is a total of 176 college credits earned! Thank you for your hard work Mrs. Bonds and Congratulations to our students! 💥👨🎓
Congratulations to our 21 students who won prizes in the raffle for IReady testing in December!!! Students earned tickets for meeting with the counselor one on one to review scores, taking the test, and improving from from their previous score. Some of the prizes included Airpods, Stanley cups, headphones, North Face Backpacks, and portable speakers! Thank you to Mr. Hanneman for writing a grant to buy the prizes! We are proud of our students for putting in their best effort! Let's get ready to do it again this spring!
ISAT and IReady will happen starting in April! Students in grades 9-10 will take the IReady. Students in grade 11 will take the ISAT's!!!
Rebound Lab Competition!
This month we will be having a competition amongst our labs to see who can earn the most credits during the month of February! Details to come! We will have a BBQ on March 6th to celebrate our winners!
Rebound students took a fieldtrip to the College of Western Idaho yesterday! An admissions counselor gave a tour of ALL the programs available and discussed how affordable it is to attend. We had a blast! 😎👷♀️🎓
Students at Rebound completed their Civics test this week! Just marking another requirement off their graduation list and one step closer to earning that diploma!
For October and November, Sources of Strength will be spreading the message of Family Support and Generosity. In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness, students made friendship bracelets to donate to Faces of Hope. This organization provides a safety net of crisis services to men, women, and children. 💛💚👬
Students were served breakfast this morning for working so hard to earn credits! For every credit earned, another pancake was added to their plate! Our staff had a great time preparing and celebrating our students. 🥓🍳

Students at Rebound can earn "Bounder Bucks" by exhibiting positive behavior! This includes being on time to school, wearing your badge, working diligently, and being a good role model. Today, students got to spend their 'bucks" in a student item requested store!

IReady testing will begin next week! We will start with Math, August 27th and 28th. We will do ELA the following week August 29th and 30th. This will be for all 9th , 10th, and 11th grade students. Make sure to get some good rest and eat a good breakfast in the morning!
The first day of school is August 14, 2024. Students will be required to wear their badges everyday, so don't forget to bring it! Don't forget your laptop. Cheers to a new year!
