 Star Elementary Experience Survey Goals: 

Thank you for taking the time to complete the Experience Survey in November. Over the past several months, we have met with students, families, and staff to carefully review the results, celebrate our strengths, and identify meaningful experience driven goals directly aligned to your feedback. 

In response, we have established the following goals:  

  • Student Experience Survey Goal:  I believe students are nice and show respect to each other at school.  During PBS meetings, the PBS team will systematically review behavior data to identify high-frequency or high-need behaviors and determine targeted supports and instructional strategies to be implemented consistently during daily instruction.

  • Parent Experience Survey Goal:   I receive positive phone calls emails, or notes about my child from school: Teachers and administrators will send positive student acknowledgment emails each week, as tracked through the acknowledgment app. Data will be reviewed regularly to ensure fidelity of implementation, with the goal of increasing overall student acknowledgments by 5% by Thanksgiving Break.

  • Staff Experience Survey Goal:  I feel that district level resources are allocated to maximize effectiveness across the organization: By Spring 2026, a standardized, clearly defined flowchart outlining the process for requesting instructional materials at Star Elementary will be developed, communicated to all staff, and implemented with fidelity. Ongoing monitoring will ensure consistent adherence to the process and timely fulfillment of material requests.

These goals will intentionally guide our focus on engagement now through the beginning of 2027. We are committed to measurable progress and will provide updates along the way so you can see the impact of this work. We look forward to reflecting on our growth in the 2026 survey cycle.
