Thank you for taking the time to complete the Experience Survey in November. Over the past several months, we have met with students, families, and staff to carefully review the results, celebrate our strengths, and identify meaningful experience driven goals directly aligned to your feedback.
In response, we have established the following goals:
Student Experience Survey Goal: I like going to school each day: We will implement kindness character traits on Wednesdays during the announcements.
Parent Experience Survey Goal: I receive feedback from school staff on how well my child is learning: Staff will send reminders and updates when sending home unit assessments to explain standards assessed and explanations of scores. Winter progress reports sent home on the same date for all classrooms.
Staff Experience Survey Goal: I feel that district culture supports open and honest communication: Staff input form will be included in weekly staff update for school and district. Input will be reviewed at leadership meetings and communicated to the district as needed.
These goals will intentionally guide our focus on engagement now through the beginning of 2027. We are committed to measurable progress and will provide updates along the way so you can see the impact of this work. We look forward to reflecting on our growth in the 2026 survey cycle.
With appreciation,
Nolan Kerby, Dean of Student Achievement
