We are proud to announce that, for the fourth consecutive year, West Ada students outperformed their peers among Idaho’s largest school districts across all state assessments, including the Idaho Reading Indicator (IRI) and Idaho Standards Achievement Test (ISAT).
Administered each spring by the Idaho Department of Education, the IRI and ISAT measure student achievement in reading, English Language Arts (ELA), math and science. West Ada students once again scored significantly above statewide averages in every assessed area.

To lead Idaho’s largest districts and outperform statewide averages across every assessed area for four consecutive years is an accomplishment our entire community can be proud of.”
As Idaho’s largest school district, serving about 40,000 students, West Ada’s performance has a significant statewide impact. While celebrating these results, district leaders emphasized that the work is ongoing. We remain focused on preparing every student to graduate college- and career-ready, investing in innovative and effective teaching strategies, and supporting student growth at every grade level.
