Over the weekend Mr. Wright and five Eagle High School students teamed up with Timberline High School at Boise State for the 2nd Annual Boise State Math Invitational where they won the Creativity in Problem Solving award and placed 1st or the overall competition. Congratulations to Eagle High School Counselor, Jordan Chesler, who was recognized as School Counselor of the Year by the Idaho School Counselor Association. Jordan is in her 8th year of school counseling and we are lucky to have her in West Ada this year. She was the past president of ISCA, served as Idaho State Board of Ed ISCA liaison, and served on the American Counseling Association of School Counselors advisory board. Jordan has also helped her alma mater, NNU, develop courses on social and emotional learning, support students with trauma and anxiety, and trauma-informed practices in school. We are grateful for Jordan and all the work she does for our students, staff, and community at Eagle High School!

Ada County Paramedics taught Mrs. Kishpaugh's classes the Stop the Bleed course. Then they talked about the field of emergency medicine and students got to explore the ambulance. Thank you Ada County Paramedics!
