Thank you for taking the time to complete the Experience Survey in November. Over the past several months, we have met with students, families, and staff to carefully review the results, celebrate our strengths, and identify meaningful experience driven goals directly aligned to your feedback.
In response, we have established the following goals:
Student Experience Survey Goal: We are committed to supporting positive peer interactions and student involvement in solving social interaction problems. Student Toolbox Leaders in the upper grades will discuss respect and friendship on morning announcements. Students may receive ‘CAUGHT YA BEING GOOD’ tickets for specific desired behavior. Ticket winners will be announced by students and will be eligible for additional rewards. Toolbox helpers will continue to act as mentors on the Primary Playground.
Parent Experience Survey Goal: We are excited to continue our efforts to keep parents involved in their student’s education. To that end, all staff will provide a ‘newsletter’ to be shared with parents. In addition, all staff members will be sending home positive notes to parents via email or phone call each week.
Staff Experience Survey Goal: Building leadership and administration will be working to communicate all news and events in a timely manner to all staff and patrons. District leadership and representatives will be invited to staff meetings and learning engagements to provide connections to resources and possible future assistance.
These goals will intentionally guide our focus on engagement now through the beginning of 2027. We are committed to measurable progress and will provide updates along the way so you can see the impact of this work. We look forward to reflecting on our growth in the 2026 survey cycle.
With appreciation,
John Labbe, Peregrine Elementary School Principal
