We appreciate our Speech Language Pathologist, Kaili Smalley, and our SLP Assistant, Maddi Ostberg!
Thank you for all you do for our school.

Our Fourth-Grade classes recently hosted the Ada County Soil and Water Conservation District.
They provided hands-on activities and education about soil quality and health and its connection to water quality, conservation, and climate change with protecting our ecosystems.
Fourth Grade spends the year learning about our great State!

The Third Grade participated in the Bike Rodeo with the Safe Routes To School and Star Police practicing proper hand signals, signs, and safety aspects with obstacles.
Remember to always wear your helmet! We love your brain!
Thank you to our fantastic Health Teacher, Mrs. Loudermilk, for organizing!

VOTE next Tuesday, May 16 on the PFL.
How would this help the community of Star?
*Ease the overcrowding at Star Elementary with a NEW elementary school in the community. Star Elementary is projected for a portable next year to ease the overcrowding right now.
*Tax Rates will maintain the 2022 Rate.
*Prepare more youth for Career and Trades in High School. Did you know there are long wait lists for classes like Welding? A new CTE School built next to Owyhee High School will prepare more students to graduate and immediately work out in the fields.
*New playground equipment at our school.
For more information, visit www.westada.org/PFL.
Comments for all West Ada PFL posts will be turned OFF under the guidance of West Ada legal counsel and in an effort to maintain Idaho Statute section 74-605: Public Integrity in Elections Act.

Do you have a child interested in Basketball?
Sign up for a spot at the Summer Owyhee Basketball Camp held at Star Middle School or Owyhee High School, based on the grade level.
