Our Coin Drive will be happening the week after spring break. From March 25-29 students can bring in coins and dollars to benefit The WAEA Children's Fund. Winning grade will get a popcorn party!

Today we got to celebrate our own Paxton! Star Elementary's Paxton Mayer was recently diagnosed with a rare, degenerative brain condition called Leukodystrophy. Surrounded by his family, friends, and loved ones and presented by a real 49er and thanks to The Dream Factory, including some Star's own teachers, Paxton will get to go on a trip to Disney World!











Congratulations Michelle Buckert who is our Classified Employee of the Year! Ms. Buckert has been a wonderful asset to Star Elementary for over 15 years. Her compassion for children is inspirational, especially those with special needs.




Congratulations Kristen Gaeta as our Teacher of the Year! Mrs. Gaeta is a leader in innovative ways to challenge and engage her students. Her commitment to Star, especially in Tech, has helped out school grow in achievement.




Star Elementary First Grade Music: A Friendship Program was a hit! Students sang their hearts out and enjoyed their scarf performance.











Owyhee High School will be hosting soccer camps this summer.

Second Grade learning with science activities featuring a visiting educator from the Boise Watershed.






Star students love Jersey Mike's! Today is the last day to come support Star Elementary and Star Middle School for the Jersey Mike's fundraiser.


Last week Mountain Mike’s had their grand opening and fundraiser for Star Elementary and Star Middle. Today Mountain Mike's presented the check to Star Elementary for our portion, which came to $772.31. Thank you Star Elementary student council for helping in accepting the check. Thank you Mountain Mike's Team - Kristin, Alyssa, and Bobby - for supporting out local schools.


Fourth Grade was able to 'Survive' the Math Challenge Escape Room.
