📍 Where: Summerwind STEM Academy Gym
👧👦 Who: Youth ages 5–12 (Registration required)
🔧 What: Students will explore STEM-focused stations to learn the engineering design process.

The 5th grade team loves being part of Summerwind STEM Academy because we get to work with such a diverse group of students who come to school excited to learn and grow every day.
The very best part of teaching 5th grade? Those moments when a concept clicks and their faces light up with understanding. We also cherish building meaningful relationships with each student and supporting their growth throughout the year.
Outside of school, you’ll find us spending time with family and friends, diving into a good book, or enjoying walks around beautiful Boise. 🌲
Join us on December 9th from 5:30–7:30 PM for a festive night of holiday fun! 🎅🍪
Families can enjoy delicious cookies, snap a photo with Santa, and soak in the magic of the season.
We can’t wait to see you there!
December 1st–17th
We’re collecting gently used books to share the joy of reading! Each grade level hallway will have a donation box where students can drop off their books.
On December 18th, every student will get to choose at least one book to keep!
Our third graders had special visitors from the Rotary Club las week! Each student was gifted their very own dictionary and learned about the power of words. 💬
