Last Friday's Pep Assembly via pictures tells a story of lots of fun action and excitement for staff and students alike! Besides hearing from our coaches what an awesome Winter session and Spring session we have had this school year, the competitions had some students and staff literally jumping in air impressively high. Student Council and Fuel Up to Play did a great job engaging the school in a fun afternoon of Kodiak Spirit right in time before this week's testing schedules! Great job, Everyone, proving as always that we continuously earn keeping our "Victory" name for academics and spirit!

CONGRATULATIONS to our STAFF MEMBER OF THE WEEK: Mr. Jerren Summers! "Jerren is a teacher that does innovative things to get his students to engage. He is fantastic at working with the special education students and making sure the assignments and assessments are according to their needs. In meetings he is thoughtful and has his students needs in mind when collaborating. He is also active in activities outside of the school day and is willing to help out when others need things. He's a nice guy and so great to work with! "

CONGRATULATIONS to our STUDENT OF THE WEEK: Austin Tibbets! Here is what Mrs. Janke had to say about Austin. "Austin is always kind to everyone and has a smile on his face. He recently was super eager to help a new to the country student that speaks very little English. Austin voluntarily took him under his wing and make him feel welcomed regardless of the communication barrier. Austin is a great example of going above and beyond in making those around him feel important. Thank you Austin for making a huge difference in so many peoples lives! Keep up the great work!"

CONGRATULATIONS to our STUDENT OF THE WEEK: Malachi Tristan! This is what Ms. Dougan said about Malachi: "Malachi shows kindness each day in math class! He goes out of his way to help his peers. He is always the first person to volunteer his laptop charger to a student who needs to borrow one. He is a pleasure to have in class and I can always count on him to be kind!"

Ms. Lee Cornell's 7th and 8th Grade filmmaking students videotaping their introductions to their documentaries with these awesome new cameras and tripods provided by the generous grant by the West Ada Education Foundation. Students in her class are eager to share the joys and concerns of AI, while learning all production processes when making digital movies
