This week is Math ISAT testing (CAT and PT tests): Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday our whole school is on our testing schedule.

7th Grade Boys Basketball team took it upon themselves to honor team moms at their last basketball game of the season April 12th. Thanks to Tyus Wright-Hoskins's idea, all team players wore pink and with Tyus parents' help had flowers to give to two moms the team chose to honor.
Coach Kinnaman said, "I think it's very important to mention that this act of kindness was 100% player led. I am very proud of this team as they exemplified being leaders in their school community with their actions."

Our two VMS Teams, Golden Girls & Ezra and Blazers Reborn, made valiant efforts but weren't able to make it to the IBOB Quarterfinals this year. Lowell Scott's team, Tillabook, took home the gold and Lake Hazel's team, Book Wurmz: The Sequel came in second.
Awesome job representing VMS:
8th grade team: Golden Girls and Ezra (Morgan Hunt, Kira Tarbet, Darcy Cluff, and Ezra Dayley)
6th grade team: Blazers Reborn (Brayden Shuldberg, Hudson Demars, Gus Forbes, and Vincent Wang)
