Last Thursday, we wrapped up another unforgettable year at Frontier with the perfect kickoff to summer! ☀️🎉

Our last day of school was packed with fun from start to finish — an amazing talent show full of brave performers and cheering fans, lunch on the field with our Frontier families, and a last-day celebration filled with games, laughter, sunshine, and summer vibes! 🕶️🌈🍉

It was the perfect way to celebrate all of the hard work, growth, friendships, and memories made this year. Thank you to our students, staff, and families for making Frontier such a special place to learn and grow.

This morning we celebrated our amazing 5th graders as they begin their final days of elementary school. 🎓💙

It’s hard to believe these students are getting ready to leave Frontier and head off to middle school next year. We’re so proud of the growth they’ve made, the memories they’ve created, and the leaders they’ve become.

Middle school is lucky to be getting this group. Once a Falcon, always a Falcon!

Today, the halls of Frontier were filled with some very familiar faces! 💙🎓 Frontier’s graduating Class of 2025 came back one last time to walk the halls where it all began.

After high fives, hugs, and plenty of memories, the staff challenged the grads to one final game of Tug-of-War — a last day of school tradition that just felt right to bring back today! 💪😄

Back in 5th grade, the staff came out on top in Tug-of-War… and today’s rematch ended the same way! 😉

We are so proud of the amazing young adults they’ve become and can’t wait to see all the incredible things their futures hold. Once a Falcon, always a Falcon! ❤️

Last week our 5th graders stepped back in time during their visit to Eagle Island’s Civil War Days! Students explored reenacted camps, participated in educational stations, and experienced scheduled cannon and small arms firing demonstrations. This living history event was the perfect connection to our 5th grade American History studies and brought the past to life in an unforgettable way!

📚 Attention Frontier Elementary! 📚

We are excited to announce that Frontier Elementary has been selected as one of only 100 national winners of Reading Is Fundamental’s “Rally to Read 100” sweepstakes!

As a national award winner, Frontier Elementary has received 100 brand-new books to help inspire a love of reading in our students. These books will be added to our classroom libraries and media center, giving students even more access to exciting and engaging stories.

This special honor recognizes schools across the country that participated in the six-month “Rally to Read 100” campaign, which encouraged students, families, and educators to read 100 books together and celebrate the joy of reading.

We are especially grateful for the leadership of our librarian, Mrs. Knam, whose dedication to literacy helps make reading fun and meaningful for all Frontier students.

Mrs. Knam shared, “We are thrilled to receive these new books for our students. Reading opens doors to imagination, learning, and opportunity, and these books will help our students continue to grow as lifelong readers.”

Congratulations, Frontier Elementary, on this exciting national recognition! Keep reading, keep learning, and keep exploring through books!
