We are so thankful for opportunities like this that bring learning to life and expose our students to the arts in such a meaningful way. What a memorable experience for our young learners! 🎻✨

We may be a little biased, but she is truly amazing at what she does. She is a constant source of support, kindness, and guidance for both our students and staff.
Elementary school counselors do so much more than people realize. Mrs. Buffington helps students build friendship skills, learn how to manage big emotions, solve conflicts, and grow in confidence. She supports students during tough times, checks in on their well-being, teaches lessons in classrooms, and helps make our school a safe and caring place for everyone.
Our Falcons are better because of her, and we are so grateful for the heart she brings to our school every single day. 💛
Thank you, Mrs. Buffington, for everything you do!

Thanks to a generous grant from the Idaho Lottery, Mrs. Knam has secured 25 virtual reality headsets for our school! 🙌
This incredible technology will bring learning to life in a whole new way. Instead of just reading about places and events, our students will be able to experience them through virtual field trips right from the classroom. 🌍✨
Imagine:
📍 4th graders traveling the Oregon Trail
📍 5th graders standing at the site of the Gettysburg Address
📍 Classes exploring landmarks, ecosystems, and historical moments connected to what they’re learning
We are so excited to give our students immersive, engaging experiences that deepen understanding and spark curiosity.
A huge thank you to the Idaho Lottery and to Mrs. Knam for helping make this opportunity possible for our Falcons! 🦅💙

More than 60 students and staff filled the library to play card games, cheer each other on, and practice being great sports. The excitement was contagious, and we’re off to a fantastic start!
A huge thank you to Mrs. LaMay and Ms. Stephanie for putting this club together and making it such a success!

Participating students can earn a FREE day pass to Roaring Springs this summer by completing the reading challenge.
Forms will be coming home this week, and students have until March 27 to finish.
📖 Reading goals:
• Grades K–4: 600 total minutes
• 5th grade: 800 total minutes
Let’s get reading!

A huge thank you to Mrs. Kaldenberg for all of the behind-the-scenes work that made it such a success, and to our families for coming out to support our students. What a joyful way to celebrate the season! ❤️🎶

👏 Mr. Roberts, one of our amazing paraprofessionals, has been awarded a full scholarship from WestAda to pursue his degree in Special Education through the University of Idaho.
📚 Mrs. Knam received a grant from CapEd to purchase new book sets for our library—what a gift for our students!
💃🕺 Our Performing Arts Club hosted a winter dance on Friday night and raised over $700. Thank you to all of the families who came out to support the event!
We are so proud of our Frontier community and all the incredible things happening here. 💙

In Kindergarten, Mrs. Tamura’s class practiced spelling short vowel words with a fun and active “Write the Room” activity. 📝💡
In 1st grade, Mrs. Medley’s students became inventors—designing umbrellas that wouldn’t blow away by studying how plants use their external parts to survive and thrive. ☔🌱
Our 3rd graders in Mrs. LaMay’s and Mrs. Leishman’s classes enjoyed a full STEM day packed with hands-on learning. They even engineered their own Thanksgiving Day balloons inspired by the Macy’s parade! 🎈🧪
So much creativity and curiosity at Frontier! 💙🤍

They learned about Idaho’s five tribes, including their origin stories and the resources they used to create clothing, tools, and shelter. After the guided tour and hands-on activity, students had time to explore the museum on their own.
A definite fan favorite? The two-headed calf exhibit! 🐮

Mrs. Dutcher’s class had the joy of fostering Buffy the bunny during October — and it’s safe to say her students (and the staff!) quickly fell in love. 💕
Buffy is now back at the Idaho Humane Society and looking for her forever home!

🎃👻 Frontier’s Annual Halloween Parade & Party! 👻🎃
Get ready for some spooky fun! On Friday, October 31st, Frontier will be hosting our Annual Halloween Parade and Party, and we’d love for our parents and families to join the fun! Come celebrate with your children and enjoy the parade beginning at approximately 3:05 PM.
Parents are encouraged to dress up and participate alongside their kids — we can’t wait to see all the creative costumes!
🧡 Costume Guidelines:
Costumes should come to school in a bag and students should be able to put them on independently.
No masks, face paint, hair dye, or weapons are allowed.
Costumes are available at school for students who do not have one.
🎯 For students who prefer not to join in the Halloween-themed activities, recess games and a fall-themed classroom will be available.
We can’t wait to celebrate a safe, fun, and festive Halloween together! 🎃✨

A huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing Frontier families for coming to Parent-Teacher Conferences over the last few days! We loved the opportunity to build relationships, celebrate your children’s successes, and work together as a team to support their growth.
Your partnership makes all the difference—Falcon families are the best!
