🗳️Trustees voted 5–0 to adopt new attendance zones designed to balance enrollment and support continued student growth across schools.
✅Meridian High School Student Council Advisor Chad Bloxham and Principal Brian Murphy presented their board report.
🔬Meridian Academy High School Student Advisor Jeffrey Watkins presented on their Science Night.
👮Dr. Bub recognized school resource officers with a challenge coin and thanked them for their dedication to protecting our schools.

After being stuck in Eagle Rd traffic, Dr. Bub arrived about 10 minutes late for his appointment with CHS Student Council. StuCo leaders greeted him at the main entrance and, in true grand fashion, presented him with a “Tardy Late Pass”! 😄
To make up for his tardy, Mr. Wilhite has graciously agreed to let Dr. Bub teach Saturday School in the near future!
CHS StuCo is always incredibly prepared, thoughtful, and engaged during Dr. Bub’s visits—presenting on fundraising, student recognition, pep rallies, leadership, and their strong feelings about reducing screen time in the classroom. Their input is fueled by meaningful student voice, and it shows.

🎓 Thank you Spalding STEM Academy for leading the Pledge of Allegiance! Spalding STEM Academy was also celebrated for their innovative teaching, strong student leadership, and outstanding academic achievement.
🎭 Idaho Fine Arts Academy, Student Council Advisor Kyle Giovannini, presented a board report showcasing fine arts programming and student leadership.
🗳️Trustees voted 5–0 to adopt Policy 723.10: Campus Sentinels.
🎟️Jason Warr, Activities & Athletics Director, conducted the Activities & Athletics Fundraiser Winter Finalists Drawing. 60,000 worth of prizes will be given away, Friday, Feb 6th at the Mountain View’s varsity basketball game.
🚨Dr. David Reinhart, Chief Operations Officer, a planning committee boundary update.
🤖Rhonda McDonough presented a first reading of Policy 604.10: Artificial Intelligence.

Superintendent Dr. Bub had a meaningful conversation with Rocky Mountain High School's Student Council and Administrators last week. In this meeting they discussed a wide array of topics such as the devastating effects of drunk and/or distracted driving, hybrid classes, work release, attendance policies, state funding programs, budget priorities, student experience, and tech in classrooms.
Dr. Bub was thoroughly impressed by RMHS StuCo’s proactive approach to creating a detailed agenda that led this thoughtful and impactful conversation!
