Earlier this month, Galileo STEM Academy's autonomous Botball Robotics Team participated in the Idaho Regional Botball Tournament.🤖

Students designed, built, and programmed, using text‑based C programming, a fully autonomous robot. Every match is powered by strategy, problem-solving, and pure student ingenuity.

The team delivered an exceptional performance, earning multiple awards🏅

The team has now qualified to compete at the Global Conference on Educational Robotics (GCER) in Norman, Oklahoma, this July! 🤖✨

Ms. Rutan currently serves as Principal of Frontier Elementary. With 21 years in West Ada, Ms. Rutan’s mission centers on cultivating a culture of continuous growth and ensuring students are supported and challenged to reach their full potential. Ms. Rutan believes Hunter Elementary has a strong foundation, and she is excited to build upon its established success. 
We look forward to Ms. Rutan’s passion for leading the Hunter community to exceed expectations in the 2026-2027 school year.

Mrs. Rosco currently serves as Assistant Principal of Instruction at Centennial High School, where she supports student achievement and helps cultivate a positive school culture. With 14 years of West Ada experience, Mrs. Rosco has demonstrated a genuine passion for building community and supporting our students.  

We are thrilled for her vision and leadership to guide and support the Joplin community in the 2026-2027 school year.

Scores are determined by the state based on standardized test scores, student growth metrics, attendance, and graduation rates.

🏫 West Ada Schools earned 8 spots among the top 20 schools in the state, with several of our schools showing tremendous growth in their rankings!

Last week, the Student Council at Idaho Fine Arts Academy welcomed Dr. Bub for informative conversations about school culture, upcoming events, service projects, and how students pursue academic growth through the arts.❤️

This year, IFAA participated in Scrollathon, a nationwide visual art installation that will be showcased at the Kennedy Center this summer.🌟

Students also highlighted Kindness Week, their Love Wins concert at JUMP, and their all-school collaborative musical production, Pippin. 🎭🎶

Looking ahead, IFAA will perform at the Getty in Los Angeles and participate in master classes at CalArts. They will also host their All-School Service Day, supporting our local community through meaningful service opportunities.🤲✨

It is truly inspiring to see students so deeply engaged in their passions while spreading love and support within their school and throughout the community.💙💛
