🎺🎶 Yesterday, members of the brass section from the Boise Philharmonic visited Frontier Elementary! 🎉 They treated our students to an incredible performance and shared fascinating insights about the science and technology behind their instruments. 🌟🎷 From the physics of sound to how their instruments are crafted, it was an engaging and educational experience for everyone. Thank you, Boise Philharmonic, for inspiring the next generation of musicians! 🎼✨

Our teachers strive to create a positive and creative learning environment every day. As a community, we can be part of that effort in a variety of ways. You can support teachers by donating directly to their classrooms. When you donate to a teacher, your donation is received through the foundation and given directly to that teacher. And because we are a nonprofit organization, you are eligible to earn a tax deduction for the donation. Please review the tax credit information explaining more about the tax benefits of donating through the Foundation. All donations will be spent during the school year they are given. Unspent funds revert to the Foundation's grant fund.

📣 Time to Celebrate Our Amazing Mathematicians! 🧮✨
We’re so proud of our students for working hard and excelling in math! 🌟 Let’s give a big round of applause to our latest Mathematicians of the Month, who have shown outstanding problem-solving skills, creativity, and determination in their learning. 🎉👏
Did you know?
🔢 Math helps us think logically and solve real-world problems!
📐 Famous mathematicians like Ada Lovelace (the first computer programmer) and Albert Einstein (the genius behind the theory of relativity) changed the world with their ideas.
Let’s keep encouraging our students to explore, ask questions, and enjoy the journey of learning math! 💡💛

🦖 A wild T-Rex was spotted on the playground during recess yesterday! Thankfully, this dino was super friendly—and the kids couldn’t get enough of her! 🦕💚 Moments like these remind us how much fun learning and play can be. Who knew dinosaurs loved recess too? 🦴✨

🎃🍂 Thanksgiving Fun in Preschool! 🍂🎃

🦃 Thanksgiving Break Reminder 🍂
Just a friendly reminder that there will be no school the week of November 25th as we celebrate Thanksgiving Break. Classes will resume on Monday, December 2nd.
As we reflect during this season of gratitude, we want to say how thankful we are for our incredible Frontier Community—students, families, and staff who make our school so special. 💙
We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with joy, love, and plenty of pie! 🥧 See you all in December!

At Frontier Elementary, building positive relationships is at the heart of everything we do. To make our community even stronger, we’ve created Frontier Families—small, cross-grade groups of 5-7 students paired with one dedicated adult mentor.
These "families" include students from all grades and are led by a mix of our amazing staff: teachers, assistants, administrators, cafeteria workers, and more. Together, we’re creating connections that foster belonging, mentorship, and teamwork across the entire school!
Today, we kicked off this exciting initiative with a "get-to-know-you" session, and it was a blast! We’re already looking forward to our next Frontier Family gathering in December.

Thank You, Frontier Families! 🍂✨
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for Fall Family Night last week! 🎉 We were blown away by the amazing turnout. It was heartwarming to see so many families playing games, solving puzzles, reading in flashlight forts, and just spending quality time together.
Your support and enthusiasm remind us why our community is so special. 💙 We’re proud to be part of such a wonderful Frontier family.

Yesterday, our 5th graders shared a heartwarming Veterans Day performance with the residents of Salmon Creek Gracious Retirement Living! They brought smiles, gratitude, and a special tribute to our veterans. We’re so proud of these young students for honoring those who have served. Thank you, Salmon Creek, for having us!

Our 4th and 5th graders did an outstanding job at this morning's Veterans Day program under the wonderful direction of Mrs. Kaldenberg, our music teacher! 🎶
We are so grateful to everyone who attended and helped make this event memorable. Most of all, thank you to our veterans for their service and sacrifice. ❤️💙
