The PTO Election Day Bake Sale was a success! Due to our generous community, we raised over $800 for Frontier's students. Thank you to everyone who donated and to those that volunteered to man the booth. We couldn't support our students and staff without such a supportive community!

"Thank You" repeated several times.
Frontier continually finds itself surrounded by amazing community members and support. Covenant Presbyterian Church recently held a shoe drive and collected over 100 pairs of shoes for Frontier. These shoes will be available to students who simply need a pair of shoes for PE or who are in need of a pair of shoes for day to day activities. Thank you to all who donated and supported our amazing students!

Shout out to October's Mathematicians of the Month! These mathematicians have been curious with numbers, have taken risks in their learning, collaborated with their peers, and found success through their mistakes. We couldn't be prouder of their hard work and success in math!

Have you ever wondered what Frontier's staff does on those late start Wednesdays? Grade level teachers are often reviewing instructional strategies and student progress, and our specialists can be found collaborating with other specialists across the district. But what about our paraprofessionals? Frontier has an unusually large amount of support staff, and they spend their Wednesday mornings much in the same way that classroom teachers do. Our paras recently received training on how to co-regulate with student who struggle to regulate their emotions. These trainings are unique to Frontier, and we are proud to be able to offer trainings like this to our dedicated paraprofessionals.

Frontier is excited to introduce you to just a few our our Fifth Grade Falcon Friends. During each recess, 5th grade volunteers are mentoring younger students on the playground. They are being a buddy to those that need it, helping to problem small issues on the playground, and modeling The Frontier Way.

Have you heard that Frontier is filled with mathematicians? It's true, they're everywhere! Take for example, these 4th graders in Mrs. Jermann's class. They were presented with a challenging task, and do you know what they did? They embraced the challenge, were flexible in their thinking, collaborated with their peers, and persisted until they had solved the problems presented to them.

Our first graders had a special visit from Boise Fire Department today. They learned about calling 911, what to do in the case of a fire, and spoke detectors. The kids loved seeing the firefighters in their full gear, and of course fire truck itself!

It's official! Last year's 5th graders were number one in the state of Idaho on their 2023 Science ISAT assessment. This is a HUGE accomplishment, and we couldn't be prouder of the hard work they put into the test. Of course we can't forget to recognize our 5th grade teachers, Mrs. Clark and Mrs. Carr, for their efforts to ensure their students were prepared for the test.
