If you dine in, be sure to mention that you are with Silver Sage that part of the order goes back to the school. You can also order online choosing "fundraiser" from the menu and finding Silver Sage.

WOW what Kindness and generosity we showed this month! We celebrated kindness month by having a food drive for the Meridian Food Bank. It was a small competition to see which classes could donate the most items, but also it showed that working together we can make a big difference in our community. Mrs. Gee's class donated the most in the younger grade levels, and Ms. Gorman's class took the prize in the older grades. As a whole school we donated a total of 1,223 items! Way to go Stallions! You're making a big difference for those around us.

Have you been enjoying The Sasquatch Escape? The school wide read has been a ton of fun! To celebrate Read Week next week, we are inviting students to dress up each day to celebrate all things reading and our school wide read of The Sasquatch Escape. Join in the fun!

Thank You Deputy Denny and Ada County Sherrif's Office for their partnership with Silver Sage!

The School Wide Read of The Sasquatch Escape has begun! All students received a shirt to kick off the event and are eager to hear the story! Students have definitely been curious about what all the decorations around the school mean, and now is the time for them to find out! Parents - you all have a link in your emails to listen to each chapter at home with your students, along with all students having their own copy. It's great to celebrate reading together!

Have you noticed the new friends welcoming you to the school in the parent pick up line? Or what about the decorations throughout the halls? Who is Dr. Woo? It's time to find out during our school-wide read of The Sasquatch Escape! Every student will receive a copy of the book, along with a reading schedule and a link to listen as staff read each chapter. Additionally, each student will receive a book themed T-Shirt. Look for hard copies of all this today, Monday. Student's are encouraged to wear their shirts on Tuesday, February 10th to kick off the fun!

STEM Night was an amazing evening full of wonder, learning, and excitement about Science, Technology, Math and Science. Students and parents were able to explore so many stations to get their brains thinking about everything in the world that STEM falls into. We can't wait to see how this translates to our learning in school - and keep an eye out for our STEM Day full of learning on April 15th. Thanks to the Children's Museum for all of their help putting the event on.

Today we celebrate and say Thank You to Mrs. Moore, our counselor! Mrs. Moore is someone our students learn from, talk to, and get help in so many ways from. We are down to just 5 days of school before our Winter Break! Let's celebrate by having a fun dress up week! Each day students are invited to wear the theme for the day to get ready for the holidays and our winter break. We have some special events planned as well. Thursday is our annual luncheon where the cafeteria will be decorated to create a new fun ambiance, where fancy dress is encouraged. Friday during pajama day, students will enjoy festivities along with a performance from 1st and 2nd grade students. Parents of 1st and 2nd graders are invited to attend their students program! We are so excited to celebrate with all of our students next week!

Congratulations to our Silver Sage SOLEkids running group. Over the weekend, all of their hard work was showcased in their final 5K race! For weeks they have shown perseverance by practicing after school, building their endurance to prepare for the race. Led by Mrs. Hall and her family, they showed grit on the course on their way to earn a medal as a SOLEkids finisher! Not everyone can say they have ran a 5K - way to go!

3rd Grade, led by Mrs. Boyd, held an amazing performance on Veteran's Day to honor our Veteran's and celebrate all that they have done for our country and community. Songs were sang, poems were read, and thanks were given. Thank you to all of our Veteran's.

3rd Graders are proud and ready to perform on Tuesday to help honor our Veteran's. There will be songs, poems and messages to celebrate and honor our Veteran's. Families are invited to attend. The performance will be on Tuesday, November 11th at 3:00 PM in the Silver Sage gymnasium.

More from Halloween Festivities on Friday! So much fun, smiles, and laughter!

Halloween is always such a fun time in elementary school! Students and staff wore costumes and enjoyed some fun games and activities together. Luckily, nothing too scary happened and all we saw were a bunch of smiles! Happy Halloween Silver Sage!
